This is an example of a Twitter "widget" that was created using a function in Twitter. This widget creates a filter that then allows only tweets to show up in the viewing window if they have the hashtag  #socbdl (which I created).   Whenever I find an online item dealing with sociology in some way, and I want to tweet it so that it can be seen by my sociology class, I will use the hashtag, and it will cause the tweet to show up in the instance of this widget that I have linked within our Blackboard course shell.
